Return / Refund Policy

 Return Policy: Applicable only on defective items

  • Kindly report any defects within 2 days of receiving your order and ensure you provide mandatory photos of the defective item. Please note that any claims submitted after 2 days from the date of delivery will not be considered by our team.
  • You can reach out to us via email at modartaindia@gmail.com or by calling our customer care at +91-8076890817, available Monday to Sunday, between 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (IST).We aim to respond to your concern within 24 working hours.
  • When returning a defective product, please ensure it is in unused and unworn condition, with the original tags intact
  • The customer is responsible for the return shipment, including the associated courier costs. If the customer prefers us to handle the return, we can arrange it for a fee of Rs. 300, which will be deducted from the total order amount.
  • It is essential that the customer ensures the defective product is returned to us within 10 days from the date of acceptance. If this timeline is exceeded, we regret to inform you that return will not be accepted by us. 
  • The customer must ensure that the product is sent to us using reputable courier services with trackable deliveries. In the event of a discrepancy where we claim not to have received the product while the customer asserts otherwise, we will require proof of delivery from the courier.
  • Upon receiving the returned product, our team will conduct a quality check. We retain packaging videos for reference to compare with customer claims of defective products. Following this comparison, we will promptly communicate our decision via email regarding the acceptance or denial of the defective item claim. If your claim is accepted, you have the option of receiving a replacement for the defective item or a coupon of equivalent value to be redeemed within one year from the date of purchase. Please note that we do not offer cash refunds.
  • In rare circumstances where a cash refund is granted, a 3% payment processing fee and a forward delivery charge of Rs.200 will be deducted. This deduction is necessary as a commission fee is initially withheld by the payment gateway partner, which we are obligated to reimburse.

Exchange: Unfortunately, we do not offer product exchanges.

Order Changes/Cancellations:

  • You can make changes to or cancel your order only if the product has not been dispatched. Once the product is dispatched, we regret that we cannot make any changes.
  • For Prepaid Orders : If the product is not dispatched and you would like a refund,there will be a deduction of a 3% payment processing fee. This is because a commission fee is initially deducted by the payment gateway partner, and we need to reimburse them
  • For COD orders: It is a humble request that any cancellation is informed to us as soon as possible so that we can avoid packaging waste and return to origin charges. 

Colour Variation : We meticulously ensure our product images remain unaltered, yet minor colour divergences might arise due to the handmade essence of our items. Please note, we are unable to entertain return requests based on color preferences or slight deviations from the picture. The handmade nature of our products inherently leads to these variations. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and strive to provide accurate representations while acknowledging the inherent uniqueness in each handmade creation.

Missing Product: We conduct stringent checks on our order packaging to ensure the accuracy of your order and maintain order packing video. We do not entertain claims for missing items after the customer has accepted the courier. If you believe the courier has been tampered with, kindly do not accept it.

Note: For international orders or custom-made items, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds, unless the item delivered is defective
